Fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) constitute a family of tyrosine kinases receptors (RTKs) that exert pivotal physiological functions in human embryonic and adult tissues. Hyperactivated FGFR signaling drives tumorigenesis in multiple cancer types, including lung and brain cancers. Great effort has been laid on the development of new compounds that specifically target the FGFR axis. However, cancer cell- based and microenvironmental resistance mechanisms against FGFR inhibitors often arise and are currently poorly understood. International audience; The reactions of the copper(I) derivative [CuL(THF)(CH3CN)]PF6 (1), in which L is the di-imine/pyridine ligand 2,6-bis[1-(2,6-diisopropylphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine, with different β-diketones (2,4-pentanedione (acacH), 1,3-diphenyl-1,3-propanedione (dbm)) yielded the new Cu(I) salt [CuL′2]PF6 (2) (L′: 2-[acetyl]-6-[1-(2,6-diisopropylphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine). These reactions of β-diketones with a di-imine/pyridine ligand co-ordinated to a Cu(I) centre constitute the first example of a partial hydrolysis of such a Schiff base within the inner sphere of a Cu centre. Two new Cu(II) coordination polymeric neutral chains of formula [Cu 2 (1,4-tpbd)(μ-A) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ](A) 2 with A = tcnoet − ( 1 ) and tcnopr − ( 2 ) (1,4-tpbd = N,N,N′N′ -tetrakis(2-pyridylmethyl)benzene-1,4-diamine, tcnoet − = 1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-ethoxypropenide and tcnopr − = 1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-propoxypropenide) have been synthesized and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. 1 and 2 show alternating chains where the 1,4-tpbd and the cyanocarbanion units (tcnoet − for 1 and tcnopr − for 2 ) alternate as bridging ligands. [EN] Two new heterobimetallic complexes [Cu(pdmg)Ni(Me-3[12]N-3)(CH3CH2OH)](ClO4)(2)(2) and [Cu(pdmg) Mn(bipy)(2)]-ClO4)(2) . H2O (3) (H(2)pdmg = 3,9-dimethyl-4,8-diazaundeca-3,8-diene-2 10-dione dioxime; Me-3[12]N-3 = 2,4,4-trimethyl-1,5,9-triazacyclododeca-1-ene; bipy = 2,2'-bipyridyl) have been prepared and characterized. The structure of 2 has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. It consists of [Cu(pdmg)Ni(Me-3[12]N-3)(CH3CH2OH)](2+) cations and non-coordinated perchlorate anions. Two new alkoxido-bridged heterometallic complexes of formula [CoIICoIII 3CuII 3(dea)6(CH3COO)3](ClO4)0.75(CH3COO)1.25 (1) and [CoII 2CoIII 2ZnII 3(tea)2(piv)6(CH3O)2(OH)2(CH3OH)2]·H2O 2 (H2dea=diethanolamine, H3tea=triethanolamine and Hpiv=pivalic acid) have been assembled using aminoalcohol ligands. The crystal and molecular structure of a new tetracarboxylato-bridged copper(II) dimer, the bis(dimethyl sulfoxide)tetrakis(μ-formato)dicopper(II) has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods. It crystatlizes in the tetragonal space group I41/a, with Z=8 in a cell of dimensions a=17.688(2), c=10.408(1) Å. The structure is built up of centrosymmetric neutral dimers [Cu2(HCOO)4(dmso)2], where four bidentate carboxylate anions form syn-syn bridges between the metal atoms which are in a 4 + 1 environment. Magnetic susceptibility data show that the copper atoms are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled with J=-434 cm-1. The obtained triplet-singlet energy gap is compared with those reported…

International audience; One-pot reaction of copper(II) chloride dihydrate CuCl2 · 2H2O with 2,2′-bipyridyl (bpy = C10H8N2) in the presence of sodium adipate Na2adip (adip2− = [O2C(CH2)4CO2]2−) and potassium 1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-ethoxypropenide (tcnoet− = [(NC)2CC(OEt)C(CN)2]−) gives the new compound [Cu4(bpy)4(adip)3](tcnoet)2 · 2H2O (1), which was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The Cu(II) metal ion presents an elongated square pyramidal CuN2O3 environment, with an oxygen atom in apical position and a base plane involving almost equivalent bond lengths. Magnetic exchange interactions in the heteropoly complexes [M4(H2O)2(PW9O34)2]10− [M=Co(II) and Cu(II)]

The magnetic properties of the heteropolyanions [M4(H2O)2(PW9O34)2]10− [M=Co(II) and Cu(II)] down to 4 K are reported. Their individual heteropoly molecules contain a rhomblike arrangement formed by four coplanar MO6 octahedra sharing edges. The magnetic properties support an intramolecular ferromagnetic exchange in the Co(II) tetramer, and antiferromagnetic exchange in the Cu(II) tetramer. These behaviors are discussed assuming anisotropic exchange in the Co(II) compound, and Heisenberg exchange in the Cu(II) compound. Carlos.Gomez@uv.es
